DopeMirrors are folding mirrors designed for motorcycles that move between public roads and off road riding. Our Honda rider gallery includes Africa Twin, Transalp and CRF300 motorcycles using DopeMirrors. We check the exact model and year before confirming the mounting configuration because motorcycle generations and modified mounting points can differ.
Adventure riders need rear visibility on the road but also want a mirror that is easier to manage in narrow terrain. The DopeMirrors system uses two ball joints, allowing the mirror to be adjusted or folded. This makes the same set suitable for normal road positioning and a more compact position when riding off road.
The upper and lower ball joints use rubber damping. The goal is to reduce vibration and provide a more stable image on rough roads and at higher speeds. We avoid promising zero vibration because the final result depends on the motorcycle, engine, tyres and mounting setup.
The current DopeMirrors model is E9 marked according to ECE R81. For Honda adventure and dual sport riders, this means the product combines a folding construction with an approved road mirror configuration for Europe.
The set uses stainless steel and rubber mounting balls, 15 cm aluminium arms and a reinforced nylon housing with glass fibre. Each current set contains two mirrors, two arms and mounting balls selected for the motorcycle. Tell us your Honda model and year and mention any aftermarket changes around the handlebar or mirror mount.
