DopeMirrors are folding motorcycle mirrors designed for riders who use the same bike on public roads and away from asphalt. Our rider gallery includes KTM 690, 890, 990 and 1290 motorcycles fitted with DopeMirrors. Because mounting details can differ by model year and by previous modifications, we check the exact motorcycle before confirming the mounting configuration.
Adventure and enduro riding exposes mirrors to branches, narrow trails, luggage, falls and repeated adjustment. The DopeMirrors design uses two ball joints, so the mirror position can be changed without replacing the complete assembly. The upper and lower joints use rubber damping intended to reduce vibration and help keep the view more stable on rough surfaces and at higher road speeds.
The current DopeMirrors model carries E9 marking according to ECE R81. This gives riders a road legal mirror designed around the needs of adventure motorcycles rather than a small off road only mirror. Approval applies to the approved product configuration, so future products or modified configurations should not be assumed to have the same approval.
The current set uses stainless steel and rubber mounting balls, 15 cm aluminium arms and a reinforced nylon housing with glass fibre. A set contains two mirrors, two arms and mounting balls selected for the motorcycle. You do not need to choose the thread size yourself. Send us the exact KTM model and year and mention aftermarket handguards, handlebars or changed mirror mounts.
If you ride a KTM on both road and trail, the useful question is not only whether a mirror folds. It is whether it gives you a practical view on the road, can be repositioned for technical riding and uses a mounting configuration checked for your motorcycle.
