Ducati DesertX Mirrors
DopeMirrors add folding adjustment to the DesertX without asking you to give up a road mirror. Two ball joints let you set the arm and housing separately, making it easier to find a useful rear view and a compact position for narrow spaces or transport.

Clearance around the screen
Start by choosing the arm position, then turn the handlebar fully both ways while stationary. Check the screen, handguards, cables and levers. Repeat this in the folded position so a convenient road setup does not become a contact point during transport.
Give the exact version and year in the cart, including Rally where applicable. We do not assume every screen and mounting arrangement is the same across the DesertX range.
Correct connection on each side
We select the mounting balls for the motorcycle. Thread pitch and direction must match the mounting point actually fitted, including any existing adapter. A similar diameter is not enough to establish compatibility.
Tell us about changed controls or mirror bases. If a thread resists, stop instead of forcing it. Send us a photo when the connection is unclear.
Road view, folding and damping
Adjust the mirrors from your normal seated position with your riding gear on. Move the arms to see past your shoulders, then fine tune the housings. Rubber coated joints help reduce vibration passed to the glass, but the result also depends on the motorcycle and installation.
Stop before folding and secure the clamps afterwards. Restore a clear rear view before returning to public roads. The assembly can move during an impact, but this does not mean every fall will leave it undamaged.
What the complete set includes
You receive two mirrors, two 15 cm aluminium arms and selected mounting balls. The housings use reinforced nylon, with stainless steel components and rubber coated joints in the system. The current DopeMirrors model has E9 approval under UNECE R81 in its approved configuration.

We check the exact year, version and current cockpit parts. Do not infer every mounting and clearance detail from the family name.

No. One set includes both sides, both arms and the selected mounting balls.
