KTM 690 Enduro R Mirrors
Getting to a trail is part of the ride. DopeMirrors give your KTM 690 Enduro R a road mirror that can be repositioned when the route becomes tighter. Two ball joints let you adjust the arm and housing independently, with both sides supplied in one set.
Prepare two useful positions
First set a road position while seated in your normal riding gear. Adjust the arms so your shoulders do not dominate the view, then set the glass. Next, with the motorcycle stopped, check a more compact position for narrow spaces or transport.
Secure the clamps after every adjustment. Folded mirrors must not press on levers, hoses or handguard brackets. Before returning to public roads, restore both to a secure position with a clear rear view.
Check the controls on your actual 690
Handguards, replacement lever mounts and rally equipment can change the space around a mirror base. Give the year and details of any mounting changes in the cart. We select the mounting balls for your setup; a KTM badge alone does not identify every thread.
Do not transfer a fitting assumption from an 890 or a different 690 generation. If the original connection has changed, send us a photo before ordering.
Movement, damping and realistic expectations
Rubber coated ball joints help reduce vibration transferred to the mirror housing. A stable installation and clean contact surfaces matter too. If a mirror moves, identify whether it is the threaded base, arm or housing before tightening anything further.
The mirror can fold when it meets an obstacle. That movement is useful, but it does not make damage impossible. Inspect the whole assembly after a fall and do not continue with cracked glass or an insecure mount.
Both sides, road approval and support
The complete set contains two mirrors, two 15 cm aluminium arms and mounting balls. It uses reinforced nylon housings, stainless steel components and rubber coated joints. The current DopeMirrors model carries E9 approval under UNECE R81 in its approved configuration.

Should I leave the clamps loose for the trail?
No. Adjust while stopped and secure the position afterwards. Deliberately loose joints are not a safe folding setup.
Does a rally tower change the mirror fitting?
It can change clearance even when the thread is unchanged. Check the screen and controls at full steering lock.
